#63 | Crossy Road

Hi! And welcome to the Turtle Jump Show: the video game podcast of your hearts, and ours! Why did the chicken cross the road? Why did the vampire cross the road? Why did the [frog|kiwi|#thedress|drop bear|flea] cross the road? Those questions are best left to philosophers, but in this episode we help these creatures and more cross roads, rivers, train tracks, and barren hellscapes in Crossy Road! Crossy Road is a Frogger-esque free to play mobile game by developer Hipster Whale.

#62 | Splatoon Global Test Fire and Random Nonsense

Hi! And welcome to the Turtle Jump Show: the video game podcast of your hearts, and ours! A couple of weeks ago Nintendo announced the Splatoon Global Test Fire demo event, and we both participated. In this episode we talk about that experience. Also Nintendo’s E3, psychology, and hallucinogens!

Announcements

As you may have noticed, the podcast has been on an unplanned and unannounced hiatus. We apologize for the lack of content and communication. However, we are back! Monday, May 11, the podcast will return with an episode on one of 2014’s biggest games, Dragon Age Inquisition. Paul and I both spent a lot of time with this game, and we’re eager to finally air our thoughts.

We have several other big episodes planned in the coming weeks. Also on the docket are Code Name S.T.E.A.M., Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor, Splatoon, and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. With E3 next month we have plans for pre- and post-show episodes as well. It’s an exciting time for gaming and for Turtle Jump.

As always we love to hear from our readers and listeners. If you have a question or topic you’d like us to discuss, send an email to letters@turtlejump.com. We’ll read it on the air and you’ll become instantly famous among our small listener base. Some of our best episodes have come from answering listener mail.

We look forward to recording, and we hope to hear from you!
